Brazilian citizens do not have to deal with a consulate to visit Azerbaijan: the visa can be requested online and arrives by email. The Azerbaijan eVisa for Brazilian citizens is filed on one form that can carry up to ten travellers, and every approved visa is delivered as a secure link.

Brazilian passports and Azerbaijan’s entry rules
Brazil is not among the eight countries whose citizens can currently enter Azerbaijan without a visa, but Brazilians qualify for the electronic one. The eligible countries list shows every nationality in that group, and the Azerbaijan eVisa page explains how the system works.
Travelling with friends from elsewhere in South America
Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Paraguay, Bolivia and Ecuador are on the eVisa list too, so a group from around the continent can share one application, with each person’s nationality taken from their own passport. Uruguay and Venezuela are not on the form, so travellers holding those passports cannot be added and should check their own entry rules separately.
Brazilian and Portuguese at the same time
Many Brazilians also hold Portuguese citizenship, and Portugal is on the eVisa list as well. Either passport can be used, but the eVisa is linked to the document you enter, so apply with the passport you will actually present on arrival in Baku and enter its number and expiry date exactly.
Long names with da, de and dos
Brazilian names often combine several family names joined by particles, as in Maria da Silva dos Santos. The surname field and the given names field should be filled exactly the way the passport divides the name, particles included, rather than shortened to the form used every day. Our team checks each name against the scan of the photo page before anything is submitted.
Preparing the Azerbaijan eVisa for Brazilian citizens
Each traveller needs a passport valid for at least 180 days after arriving in Azerbaijan and a scan of its photo page as a JPG, PNG or PDF of up to 8 MB. The arrival date, accommodation and purpose of the trip are given once for the whole group, together with one email address and one phone number. A Brazilian mobile is written with +55, the two-digit area code and the nine-digit number, for example +55 11 9 followed by the remaining eight digits. Visa requirements explains every field.
A family of five and the price
Pricing is per head, USD 59 or USD 130 per traveller, so a family of five on the Azerbaijan eVisa for Brazilian citizens pays USD 295 when everyone is on standard processing and USD 650 on urgent. Standard means a result within 3 working days and an arrival date at least 4 days after you apply; urgent means a result within 3 hours, fast enough for a flight that leaves the same day. Your bank sees the charge in Azerbaijani manat, AZN 100.30 or AZN 221.00 a head, and the fee page explains what comes back if plans change.
How long a Brazilian visitor can remain
Count on 90 days in which the visa can be used and a maximum of 30 days on Azerbaijani soil. Going past 15 days triggers the address registration described under migration rules; anyone hoping to remain beyond the month should read duration of stay first.
The embassy in Brasília
Azerbaijan’s embassy in Brasília, in the Lago Sul district, is also accredited to Guyana, Suriname, Ecuador and Trinidad and Tobago. The Azerbaijan eVisa for Brazilian citizens does not involve it; its address, phone numbers and email are listed under Brazil on our Azerbaijan embassies page, and general visa information is published by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Checks, decision and the printed eVisa
Payment hands the file to our team, who read every entry against the passport scans and message you if a name, a date or an image needs redoing. Only then is it lodged on the official portal, and the answer comes from Azerbaijan’s authorities. Good news arrives as one email holding a secure link per traveller; print each visa and tuck it into the right passport. Lost the message? check your application status sends a fresh link.
