How to check your Azerbaijan eVisa application

To check an Azerbaijan eVisa application you started with us, enter your application reference and the email address you applied with — we will send a secure link to that address. This page explains what each status on that link means and what, if anything, you need to do next.

Checking your application with us

You need two things: your application reference, which looks like AZ-0000-000000 and appears in the emails we have sent you, and the email address the application was made with. Enter both and we will email a secure link to that address. Opening the link shows the current status of your application and everyone travelling on it.

If you have not applied yet, start with how the application works.

Why the form always says the same thing

The form gives you the same confirmation whether or not the details match an application. That is deliberate: it means nobody can use it to find out whether an application exists, or who it belongs to. If your details were right, the link is on its way to your inbox.

Check your application status

This page explains what the statuses mean. The link we email you shows your own application.

What each application status means

An application moves through these eight statuses. Some steps happen automatically and some wait on a person, so you will not see every status change at the same pace.

StatusWhat it meansWhat you should do
Payment pending Your application exists but payment has not completed yet. Every application starts here. Complete the payment. We cannot begin work until it clears.
Paid Your payment has been received. The application moves on by itself. Nothing. The next status follows automatically.
Under review Our team is checking your details and documents before the application goes further. Nothing, unless we contact you.
Additional information required We need something more from you before the application can continue. This one needs you. Check your email, open the link we sent, and send us what is asked for.
Submitted We have submitted your application to the portal. Nothing. We will tell you when there is a decision.
Processing Your application is being processed. We may still come back to you if something else is needed. Nothing, unless we contact you.
Completed The application is finished and a result has been recorded for each traveller on it. Open your status link to see each result and download any document that was issued.
Cancelled The application was closed before payment completed and no further work will be done on it. Contact us if this is unexpected.

What your result means

A result belongs to each traveller, not to the application as a whole. One application can carry several people, and each of them ends with their own result.

  • Pending — no result has been recorded for this traveller yet.
  • Approved — a decision has been recorded in this traveller’s favour. Where a document was issued, you can download it from your status link.
  • Rejected — the application was not successful for this traveller.

Because results are recorded per person, travellers on the same application can end with different results.

What happens when we need more information

If something is missing or unclear, we email you to say what we need. That email contains a link to your application, and you send what is needed from the page it opens, so everything stays attached to the right application. Once we have it, the application returns to review or moves on to processing.

This is the one status that always needs something from you. Nothing moves until you reply.

If your status has not changed

Some transitions are automatic and others wait on a person, so a status can stay the same for a while without anything being wrong. We do not attach a fixed waiting time to any status, and we would rather tell you nothing than tell you a number we cannot stand behind.

Request a fresh link whenever you want to look again — checking costs you nothing and does not affect your application. If something looks wrong, or your travel date is approaching and you are concerned, contact us and we will look at it.

The official portal is separate

The Republic of Azerbaijan operates its own electronic visa portal at evisa.gov.az. It is not this website. eVisa Services Center LLC is an independent visa assistance service and is not affiliated with the Government of Azerbaijan.

The statuses described on this page are ours. They describe how far the application you placed with us has got, and are not the same thing as anything shown on the official portal.

Reviewed . This page describes how our own service works and is reviewed when that changes.
